Mary was born in England circa 1608.2,3 She married William Beardsley in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, England, on 26 January 1631.4 Mary Harvey emigrated with William Beardsley on 2 April 1635 from Saint Albans, Hertfordshire.5,6 Mary was an independent businesswoman in her own right at the time William wrote his will, 28 September 1660. The nature of her business is not certain, but from the inventory of the estate it probably had something to do with weaving or sewing.7 Mary died following 1667 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut.8
