"He was a rich man. He seems to have lived at Shalford from his marriage until a few months before his death. He appears to have been friendly to non-conformists. Three of his daughters came to New England with their husbands. John White of Cambridge and Hartford was very probably his son."1 Robert was born say 1560. He married Brydgette Allgar in Shalford, Essex, England, on 24 June 1585.1 Robert died in June 1617 in Messing, Essex, England.1 He was buried on 17 June 1617 in Messing, Essex, Eng..1
