She was a capable business woman, engaging in many real estate deals. She often loaned money on mortgages, and managed her husband Thomas' estate in partnership with their eldest son. Abigail was born in 1615. She married Thomas Olcott circa 1636. Abigail died on 26 May 1693. She was buried circa 27 May 1693 beside her husband in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.
