Clifford was born in Fowlerville, Livingston County, Michigan, on 2 April 1909.1 He was the son of Joseph Steven Huff and Arvilla Sarah Gott. He married Bernice Ione Grieb in the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Fowlerville, Mich., on 10 November 1933.2 In 1941 he was occupied as a Tool and Die Maker at Atlas Drop Forge. He married Irene Margretta Gifford in Ingham County, Michigan, on 2 November 1968. Clifford died on 2 June 1983 in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan, at age 74.
