Arvilla was born in Handy Township, Livingston County, Michigan, on 8 January 1884.1 She was the daughter of Richard Gott and Martha Arvilla Dean. She married Joseph Steven Huff in Handy Twp., Mich., on 6 September 1905.2 Arvilla died on 14 April 1971 in Ingham County, Michigan, at age 87. She was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville, Livingston County, Michigan.
