Ernest was born in Westmoreland, Cheshire County, New Hampshire, on 8 January 1887.1 He was the son of Henry Jackson Dutton and Olive Maria Dutton. Ernest died on 8 December 1888 in Westmoreland, N.H., at age 1.2
