Mary was born in Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, on 25 April 1649.¹ She was the daughter of William Hartwell and Jazen (--?--). She married Jonathan Hill on 11 December 1666.² Mary died on 13 February 1695/96 in Billerica, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 46.³
