Bradley was born in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont, on 30 October 1956.1 He is the son of Clifton Carroll Martin and Kathelyn Mae Dutton. In the summer of 1967, the family removed to to Union Lake, Oakland County, Michigan when Bryant Computer Products was moved by its parent Excello Corporation. In 1970 the family moved to in Walled Lake, Oakland County, Michigan. He married Candice Michelle Goldsmith in Farmington Hills, Oakland County, Michigan, on 27 August 1977.2
