Alice was born in Vermont on 18 January 1882.1 She was the daughter of Emmett Emile Williams and Harriet Alida Johnson. She was a resident in the household of Emmett Emile Williams in the 2 July 1900 census taken in Chester, Windsor County, Vermont, a student age 18, his daughter.2 She married Guy E. Baker on 14 October 1908. Alice died on 6 March 1972 at age 90.
