Zopher White

Zopher was born in New Hampshire circa 1807.1 He married Adeline Williams in Mount Holly, Rutland County, Vermont, on 7 July 1839.2,3 He was a head of household in the 11 July 1860 census taken in Mt. Holly a laborer age 53; his personal property was valued at $100, the equivalent of $2,000 in the year 2000; Adeline Williams resided in the same household, as "Adeline White" age 41; as did Samuel Williams, a farmer age 78 [sic], whose real estate was valued at $1,100, the equivalent of $22,400 in the year 2000; and Polly Tarbell, as "Polly Williams" age 58 [sic].3
