Polly was born in Vermont on 26 July 1796.1,2,3,4,5 She was the daughter of Edmund Tarbell and Polly Boynton. Polly was probably under age 10 in Edmund Tarbell's household in the 1800 Census taken in Mount Holly, Rutland County, Vermont.6 She married Samuel Williams in Mt. Holly on 7 November 1813.7,8,9 She was a resident in the household of Samuel Williams in the 1850 census taken in Mt. Holly as "Polly Williams" age 54.7 She was a resident in the household of Zopher White in the 11 July 1860 census taken in Mt. Holly as "Polly Williams" age 58 [sic].10 Polly died in 1875 in Mt. Holly.11 She was buried in the Tarbellville Cemetery in Mt. Holly.11
