Lewis was born in 1813.1 He was the son of Eli Beardsley and Patty Lewis. He married Nellie Eunice Judson in Roxbury, Litchfield County, Connecticut, in February 1840.1 He married Betsey Judson in Bridgewater, Litchfield County, Connecticut, on 23 January 1856.1 He was a merchant Bridgewater, Conn. for many years.1 DON'T USE PRINCIPAL ROLE IN DEATH.1 He was buried at Roxbury Center Cemetery in Roxbury, Conn..1
