Clifton was born in Vermont on 31 August 1911.1 He was the son of Everett E. Lanpher and Abbie Amoden(?). He was a resident in the household of Everett E. Lanpher in the 1920 census taken in Rumney, Grafton County, New Hampshire. He was a resident in the household of Everett E. Lanpher in the 1 April 1930 census taken in Plymouth, Grafton County, New Hampshire. Clifton Lanpher resided in Island Pond, Brighton, Essex County, Vermont, at the time of his death.2 Clifton died in January 1975 at age 63.3
