First cousin 5 times removed of Darrell Allen Martin.
Loel was born in Rockingham, Windham County, Vermont, on 25 January 1815.1 He was the son of Thomas Gould Esquire and Caroline Olcott. An alternate form of his name was Lowell although I have not seen it recorded. He was baptized in Rockingham on 13 June 1819.2
