Susannah was born following 2 August 1790.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Hodgman Junior and Sarah Lawrence. An alternate form of her name was Susan. Susannah was probably age 10 and under 16 in Joseph Hodgman Junior's household in the 1800 Census taken in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont.2 She married Jesse Evans in Chester, Windsor County, Vermont, on 15 March 1803.
