Edwin was born in Vermont circa 1832.1 He was the son of ? Bailey and ? (--?--). He was a head of household in the 21 April 1910 census taken in Newbury, Orange County, Vermont, living in a home on Romance Street that he owned free, a widower age 78; Allen Downing Felch resided in the same household, a carpenter age 48, Edwin's widower son in law.1
