He was the Colonel Francis Faulkner who led the minutemen to the fight at Concord Bridge in 1775, and commanded the regiment that guarded General Burgoyne's army when they were prisoners of war. Francis was born say 1690. He was the son of Lieutenant Francis Faulkner and Abigail Dane.
