He served in King Philip's War. Samuel was born in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, in November 1649. He was the son of William Lamson and Sarah Ayers. He married Mary Nichols on 19 May 1676. Samuel died on 7 October 1692 in Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 42.
