Noah was born in Hadley, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, on 26 July 1666.1 He was the son of Thomas Welles and Mary Beardsley. He married Mary White circa 1684. He was in New London, New London County, Connecticut in 1691. He resided in Colchester, New London County, Connecticut by 1709. Noah died in 1712 in Colchester, Conn..
