George was born in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont, on 6 October 1870.1,2 He was the son of Perrin Smith Dutton and Sybil Dartt. George died on 3 February 1898 in Springfield at age 27.3,4 He was buried in the Summer Hill Cemetery in Springfield.
