Sarah Fitch

Sarah was born on 8 May 1731.1 She married Thomas Dutton IV in Lunenburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts, on 9 September 1756. The first three of their four children were born there.2,3 At the time of her marriage to Thomas she was "of Lunenburg". She was accepted into the Rockingham church 4 May 1777, upon application; her husband had some explaining to do before he was admitted, though4. She was probably a member of the family after which the new town of Fitchburg was named, when it spun off from Lunenburg in 1764. Sarah Fitch resided with Thomas Dutton IV in Rockingham, Windham County, Vermont, on 20 November 1773.5
