Leon was born on 31 March 1892.1,2 He was the son of E.J. Duval. He attended Burr & Burton Seminary in Manchester, Bennington County, Vermont. He married Stella Rose Morse on 2 July 1917.3,4 Leon died on 16 June 1938 at age 46.1,5 He was buried in 1938 in the Green Hill Cemetery in Wallingford, Rutland County, Vermont.6
