Great-granduncle of Darrell Allen Martin.

Joseph was born in Brandon, Rutland County, Vermont, on 8 May 1877.1 He was the son of Oliver Martin and Julia May Hulbert. He was a resident in the household of Oliver Martin in the 9 June 1880 census taken in Brandon, age 3, his son.2 Joseph died of appendicitis on 30 November 1895 in Mount Holly, Rutland County, Vermont, at age 18. He was a blacksmith.
