Eugene was born in Brandon, Rutland County, Vermont, on 15 September 1872.1 He was the son of Oliver Martin and Julia May Hulbert. He was baptized into the Roman Catholic religion in St. Mary's Church in Brandon, on 20 October 1872. Eugene Francis Martin was often called Gene. He was a resident in the household of Oliver Martin in the 9 June 1880 census taken in Brandon, age 7 at school, his son.2 He married ? Woods say 1895. Eugene died in 1951. He was buried in North Bennington, Bennington, Bennington County, Vermont.
