Elon was born circa September 1860.1,2 He was the son of Jonathan Johnson and Lucinda Gibson. This person's exact name is not certain. Elon died on 10 February 1862.3 He was buried in the Colburn-Tabor Cemetery in Shrewsbury, Rutland County, Vermont.4
