Hannah was born in Vermont, in 1844.1,2 She was the daughter of Jonathan Johnson and ? (--?--). She was a resident in the household of Jonathan Johnson in the 1850 census taken in Shrewsbury, Rutland County, Vermont, a student age 6.3
