Jennifer was born in New Brunswick, Somerset County, New Jersey, on 10 March 1962.1 She is the daughter of Ronald Grobety Brauner and Fern Eileen Dutton. She married Theodore Joseph Bussen in the Grabill Missionary Church in Grabill, Allen County, Indiana, on 25 May 1985.2
