Melody was born probably in Vermont, on 22 March 1954. She is the daughter of James Edward Martin and Clarice MacGinnis. She married Marshall Clark circa 1974. Melody was divorced from Marshall Clark say 1980. She married Walter H. Reed III circa 1982.
