Nine-greats-grandaunt of Darrell Allen Martin.
Mary was born in Hillmorton Parish, Warwickshire, England, probably August 1615.1 She was the daughter of John Perkins and Judith Gater. She was baptized in Hillmorton Parish, Warks., Eng., on 3 September 1615.2 She married Thomas Bradbury circa 1635.3 She was among those accused of witchcraft during the Salem madness of 1692 and, in spite of testimony in her favor by her husband, two ministers, and over one hundred of her neighbors, was condemned. By the efforts of her friends the execution was delayed, and she was eventually discharged. Mary died in 1700 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.
