Myrtle was born in Vermont, on 2 November 1905.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Simeon Allen Holt and Eliza Rebekah Felch. Myrtle Myrle Holt appears in a photograph taken circa 1906 in Newbury, Orange County, Vermont. Myrtle was nicknamed "Jackie" Holt.4 She was a resident in the household of Simeon Allen Holt in the 28 April 1910 census taken in West Fairlee, Orange County, Vermont. She was a resident in the household of Simeon Allen Holt in the 24 January 1920 census taken in North Haverhill, Haverhill, Grafton County, New Hampshire. She married Albion Everett Lanpher circa 1925.5 She was a resident in the household of Albion Everett Lanpher in the 1 April 1930 census taken in Campton, Grafton County, New Hampshire. She married Don R. Thayer in Vermont, say 1962.6,7,8,9 At some point after she and Don married, they probably resided in Bethel.10 Myrtle Myrle Holt resided with Don R. Thayer in Milton, Chittenden County, Vermont, at the time of her death.11 Myrtle died on 14 April 1993 in Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont, at age 87.12
