Eloise was born on 17 June 1898.1,2 She was the daughter of Ellsworth L. Humphrey and Katie Jane Felch. Eloise Roberta Humphrey appears in a photograph taken circa 1906 in Newbury, Orange County, Vermont. She married (--?--) Nelson say 1916. Eloise died in 1919 about a year after her daughter Annabel was born.3
