George was born in Westmoreland, Cheshire County, New Hampshire, on 24 June 1860.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Jasper Willard Dutton and Ellen M. Tolles. He was a resident in the household of Jasper Willard Dutton in the 3 September 1860 census taken in Weathersfield, Windsor County, Vermont, age 2/12.5 George died on 15 February 1869 in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont, at age 8.6
