George was born in Barnet, Caledonia County, Vermont, on 14 May 1821.1,2 He was the son of Ira Felch and Mercy Ann S. Paine. He married Thankful Waters say 1840. He married Jane Martin on 13 December 1860. George may also have had a daughter named Thankful, and/or a son named Lucus.3 George died prior to 8 March 1894. He was a logger, and moved around a lot.
