Weston William Goldsmith became an Eagle Scout at a Court of Honor held by Boy Scout Troop Number 456 24 May 2003 in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee. He graduated on 24 May 2004 from Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn..2 He entered active duty with the Tennessee National Guard in 2004, and was deployed to the Middle East with I Troop, 3/278 Regimental Combat Team.
