Clifton O. Martin
Clifton was born in Rutland, Rutland County, Vermont, on 17 January 1905.1,2,3 He was the son of William Henry Martin and Sarah Marie LaPlante. Clifton was nicknamed Pat or Paddy.4 He was a resident in the household of Oliver Martin in the 29 April 1910 census taken in Mount Holly, Rutland County, Vermont, age 5, Oliver's grandson.5 He was a resident in the household of William Henry Martin in the 17 January 1920 census taken in Mt. Holly a student age 14, his son.6 He married Annis Lizzie LaQue in Cavendish, Windsor County, Vermont, on 28 October 1922.7 Clifton Oliver Martin resided in Mt. Holly on 1 September 1938.8 He resided in Mt. Holly on 1 September 1940.9 He resided in Mt. Holly on 1 September 1941.10 Clifton relocated to Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont circa 1942. Clifton was divorced from Annis Lizzie LaQue in Florida circa January 1972. He married Mae (--?--) in Florida circa 1974. Clifton died of emphysema on 9 June 1977 in Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida, at age 72.11 He was buried in the center section of the Maple Grove Cemetery in East Wallingford, Wallingford, Rutland County, Vermont.12
