Roy was born in Vermont, on 10 June 1894.1 He was the son of George W. Clark and Rosina Gertrude Williams. His middle initial may have been C.2 He was a resident in the household of George W. Clark in the 25 April 1910 census taken in Mount Holly, Rutland County, Vermont, a laborer and student age 15, his son.1 He married Angeline L. Aldrich say 1915.3 He married Margaret Crowley in May 1965. Roy died in 1979. He was buried in the East Clarendon Cemetery in East Clarendon, Clarendon, Rutland County, Vermont.2
