Elsie Severance, 15 April 1884      Elsie was born in Rockingham, Windham County, Vermont, on 4 September 1865.1,2 She was the daughter of Warren F. Severance and Ancy Clementine Dutton. She married Lewis O. McQuaid on 26 June 1894.3 Lewis and Elsie adopted Hope Myra Severance 20 October 1903. Hope was born 29 August 1903 in Springfield, Mass., and married Leon A. Rushbrook of Richmond, Mass. on 18 March 1933.4 Elsie died on 15 May 1925 in Pittsfield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, at age 59.5
